Ayọ provides professional counselling for individuals, couples, and families, personalised to help attain their healing and personal growth. Through his training and practice, he has gained a great deal of experience and empathy for people who have faced psychological and emotional trauma. His approach is warm, engaging and non-judgmental, allowing him to offer feedback and practical tools to deliver timely results. He also offers specialised guidance for relationships where one or both partners are or have been engaged in high-stress, demanding careers or other difficult life circumstances.
With over 15 years’ experience as a pastor, Ayọ provides practical Christian based services and counselling for clients who are comfortable with or request biblical counselling. Both his ministry and counselling practices stem from a redemptive approach, giving the opportunity to draw upon spiritual resources to minister the grace and truth of God through the process of discovery and recovery (sanctification).
Ayọ is a registered psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO); and a certified member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP). He is a Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT); Registered Marriage and Family Therapist with the Canadian Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (CAMFT).

Christie Onumejor, M.Div., RP (Qualifying)
Christie supports individuals, couples, and families towards healthy relationships in a warm, safe, nurturing, and professional atmosphere. She supports individuals and families in overcoming various struggles of life such as broken relationships, communication breakdown, affairs and recovery, anxiety, abuse, depression, grief and loss, trauma, and life transitions.
Her therapeutic training and over 15 years of pastoral experience, enables her to offer those who seek her services therapeutic, emotional, spiritual, and relational supports. She understands that life’s challenges can appear impossible to overcome, and she believes those challenges can be sources of strength. She believes that real and lasting change occurs through a combination of deep personal insight, and the outworking of that insight in practical life contexts. Christie is dedicated to offering hope even when it is difficult to see. Christie is a registered psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
Her approach is person-centred and integrative, using evidence-based therapeutic models such as emotionally focused therapy, cognitive and behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, narrative therapy, and family systems. Inas Zaher, RP (Qualifying)
Inas is a compassionate and caring individual who believes in people’s worth and ability to grow and heal. She provides a safe and warm environment for clients to be heard and supported in a non-judgmental manner while meeting them where they are at in their journey. Inas works with clients experiencing anxiety, grief and loss, self-esteem, spirituality/faith issues, daily life challenges, interpersonal relationships, and other struggles. She has extensive experience through her personal journey, life transitions, youth ministry, working with special needs children, serving the elderly and community counselling. Such opportunities and experiences have instilled in her a passion for helping others and finding great joy in seeing them thrive and reach their potential.

Inas holds a holistic view of the wellness of the individual which suggests that the biological, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects of the human person are interrelated, and they all contribute to one’s overall functioning. Jin Choi, M.Div. (Cand.)
Jin is an intern therapist who is completing her placement at Harmony Counselling Services. She has a holistic approach to therapy and walks alongside each client with a hope of flourishing psychologically, physically, and spiritually. Jin supports clients who are going through stressful life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, and loneliness. She also addresses topics surrounding family, culture, interpersonal relationships, and faith (religion). In each session, she prioritizes that client feel heard, understood, and safe. Jin is fluent Korean language.
Style and Approach
Jin holds a holistic approach to therapy and uses integrative therapeutic modalities in her practice. She believes that the physical, mental, and spiritual all simultaneously contribute to the health of a person. She takes all three components into consideration during therapy. Jin believes that the intricacy of a person should reflect their treatment plan. Therefore, various therapeutic models are reviewed according to their effectiveness for the client.
Jin is currently completing her final year of the Counselling program at Tyndale University, Toronto. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from Ryerson University, Toronto.

Marian Balogun, BSMC, PgDip.
Marian is a seasoned marketing communications professional, who brings her strategic thrust, project management experience and resourcefulness to her work. She is saddled with the responsibility of team management and implementing strategies to promote organizational growth and corporate objectives. As part of her portfolio before joining Harmony Counselling Services, she provided public relations support to several brands such as Google and CNN in Nigeria.
