Ayọ Akanbi, M.Div., RP, RMFT, (c)OAMHP
Ayọ provides professional counselling for individuals, couples, and families, personalised to help attain their healing and personal growth. Through his training and practice, he has gained a great deal of experience and empathy for people who have faced psychological and emotional trauma. His approach is warm, engaging and non-judgmental, allowing him to offer feedback and practical tools to deliver timely results. He also offers specialised guidance for relationships where one or both partners are or have been engaged in high-stress, demanding careers or other difficult life circumstances.
With over 15 years’ experience as a pastor, Ayọ provides practical Christian based services and counselling for clients who are comfortable with or request biblical counselling. Both his ministry and counselling practices stem from a redemptive approach, giving the opportunity to draw upon spiritual resources to minister the grace and truth of God through the process of discovery and recovery (sanctification).
Ayọ is a registered psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO); and a certified member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP). He is a Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT); Registered Marriage and Family Therapist with the Canadian Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (CAMFT).

Nishat Fatima, PhD, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Nishat is passionate about supporting individuals going through stressful times. Knowing that stressful situations can overwhelm an individual’s ability to cope, she works collaboratively with her clients to move beyond the overwhelming situation and gain the confidence to regain control.
She has over 15 years’ experience supporting clients with postpartum depression, anxiety and PTSD and people in a refugee context. She believes every person has a wealth of strengths to work from and by capitalizing on these, they are able to grow and improve their bonds with others.
Nishat work from an eclectic approach depending on the client’s unique needs. She combines short-term solution-focused, cognitive-behavioural (CBT), narrative therapy, neuro-linguistic and psycho-educational approaches in her work with clients. In addition, she utilizes trauma-informed and mindfulness techniques. Working from a client-centred approach, she is committed to creating a safe space where clients feel they can share their story, and receive feedback, support, and encouragement.

Felicia Onwuemele, BScN, RN, M.Div. (Cand.)
Felicia is a master’s Level Training Counsellor completing her practicum placement at Harmony Counselling Services until April 2021. She has a special interest in individuals and families living with exceptionalities such as Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Style & Approach
She utilizes a strengths-based, person-centred approach to counselling. Felicia purposefully incorporates multicultural concepts in therapy because she feels culture, values, believes and contexts greatly influences how we interact with those around us. Having practised as a registered nurse for over three decades, Felicia has gained a wealth of experience working with and supporting families, individuals, and couples from a diverse background with empathy and compassion. Felicia utilizes an integrative and systemic approach to conceptualize issues and to identify strength and growth areas.
Felicia is completing her Master’s in Divinity (M.Div.) in Counselling at Tyndale Seminary in Toronto. She holds a Bachelor of Nursing (BScN) and she is a registered nurse (RN).

Zoe Sileshi, B.A, M.Div. (Cand.)
Zoe is a master’s Level Training Counsellor completing her practicum placement at Harmony Counselling Services until April 2021. Zoe works with clients experiencing anxiety, self-esteem, stress management, spirituality/faith issues, daily life challenges, and interpersonal relationships.
Style & Approach
She is easy to talk to, warm, genuine, and focused on providing non-judgmental support while integrating her faith. Her calm demeanour and gentle disposition create a warm and welcoming environment, enabling others to feel safe and seen. Her empathetic approach helps clients feel supported, and she offers an open space to share and reflect.
Zoe likes to integrate Cognitive Behavioural, Family Systems and Narrative approaches in sessions. She has experience mentoring and working primarily with young adults. Her hope and vision in counselling are to journey alongside each person to facilitate them to better manage their life circumstances.
Zoe is currently completing her final year of the Counselling program at Tyndale Seminary. Prior to this, she completed her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Tyndale University.
In her spare time, Zoe enjoys connecting with her family, reading, and photography.
