My fee for a standard individual session is $150.00 plus HST for a 50-minute session and $200.00 plus HST for a couple/marriage session of 80 minutes. Payments are accepted at the beginning of the session and receipts will be produced at the time of payment. Please bring payment to your first session, and to each session thereafter. I accept cash, Interac e-Transfer, and credit card payments.
Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) does not cover my fees. However, if you have extended health coverage through your employee benefits program to see a Registered Psychotherapist, you will have no trouble in claiming your benefits unless otherwise stipulated in your policy. It is your responsibility to confirm your coverage with your insurance company. Anyone who is self-employed should be able to claim fees as a deduction.
I require 24 hours notice of cancellation. Please note that if you do not cancel your appointment I cannot utilise the time for another client. Hence, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session. If a client customarily pays by credit card, their account will be charged for no-shows or late cancellations and a receipt will be issued to them at their next appointment.
